🌊 Day 20 – Streams of Progress and Feathery Reflections

Hello there!

Today’s session was short but fruitful — quite literally, with a new Fishing level: 82! πŸŽ£ Slowly but surely, I’m swimming through the levels, and I’ve now used more than half of my 11,000 feathers. I only got one clue box scroll(sigh), but still, I’m making gains: Fishing, Cooking, and even… gem shopping?

Yes! I’ve started selling cooked fish and buying uncut rubies at 1,000 gp each. I already have over 200 of them! I get the feeling these are more common in members’ worlds, because in F2P they’re pretty rare. But I like this slow trade-off system: feathers into fish, fish into coins, coins into sparkly red stones. Seems fair, right?

Also, a fun realization today: I’m getting scarily close to the 90s in multiple skills, and the thought of those shiny 99 capes is tempting. But then I remembered — going from level 92 to 99 is the same XP as going from level 1 to 92. Sooo… let’s just breathe, not stress, and enjoy the slow river ride. 🧘‍♀️🎏

I’m also starting to wonder what’s next. Once the feathers are gone (about 5,000 left!), I might shift into woodcutting. Not only is it another great way to find clue scrolls, but I’m also deeply curious about a strange random event I’ve seen before: little plant-creatures or saplings dancing around the trees. Once, I even got something called anima bark… and I had no idea what was going on. I still don’t. But hey — new day, new mystery.

The consistency in this blog also makes me happy — 20 days in a row! We're two-thirds through the monthly goal, and honestly, it feels good to keep showing up. Thank you for coming along.

Today’s Achievement

✍️ Day 20 of daily blogging streak!

Bird Fact of the Day – Ospreys: the Fish Eagles of the Sky
Ospreys are expert fishers — in fact, fish make up over 99% of their diet! They’re found near rivers, lakes, and coastlines almost worldwide, and they specialize in catching species like trout, salmon, and other medium-sized fish. What’s wild is how they hunt: ospreys dive feet-first into the water, often submerging completely, and grab their prey with sharp talons equipped with spiny pads that help them grip slippery fish.

Even cooler? Once they catch a fish, they rotate it head-forward while flying — like a missile — to make it more aerodynamic. If you see a bird flying over water with a fish perfectly aligned headfirst… yep, that’s an osprey on the move. πŸ’₯🎯

See you tomorrow, adventurer. May your waters be full of fish, and your clue scrolls less shy. πŸŸπŸ“œ
