Day 19 - The River Grind Rolls On π
Hello everyone! A new day, a new week — and the progress continues. I just hit level 81 Fishing! π£ To keep things fresh (and keep the motivation going), I started selling every batch of 400 or so trout and salmon, using the gold to buy uncut rubies. Since clue scrolls come more slowly now than they did with mining, these little goals help keep the rhythm going. I still have over 8,000 feathers left, so there’s a long road ahead, but I’m excited to keep going.
Just now, I got another clue scroll box — finally! Even though I can hold up to five, it feels natural to solve them after stacking four, just like I did during my mining days. So far, I have 59 Reward Caskets banked! (It should’ve been 60, but I misclicked and opened one — only cabbages inside… RIP π₯¬).
It feels unlikely that I’ll hit another burst of four or five scrolls like before, so I’m setting a new mini-goal for today: let’s go for Cooking level 84! ππ₯
But here’s the catch: if the water is polluted or the surrounding vegetation is degraded, ducks may abandon the area entirely. That’s why they’re often considered bioindicators — species whose presence (or absence) tells us a lot about the health of aquatic ecosystems. So next time you're by a river (in-game or in real life), remember: if there are happy ducks, it’s likely a healthy place. π¦πΏπ§
π Today’s Achievements:
Reached level 81 Fishing & 84 Cooking
Banked 59 Reward Caskets (accidentally opened one)
Continued trout & salmon grind in Barbarian Village
Traded cooked fish for uncut rubies to keep motivation high
Keep your lines cast and your clue scrolls steady — whether it’s feathers or rubies, patience always pays off. See you at the next fishing spot, adventurer! π£ππ§
