Day #6: Moving out from the Ruins of Camdozaal and into the Karamja Dungeon
Reached level 87 Attack!
Before leaving Camdozaal, I switched gears and finished collecting eight Barronite handles so I could combine them with the other parts and create a stack of Barronite maces. By the way—why can't we sell these maces? I now have eight just sitting there, and I’m not sure what to do with them. Maybe one day I’ll go to the Wilderness and risk them in PvP… but honestly, I don’t think I will. It would be nice if we could trade or sell them somehow! Anyway, I’ve been enjoying the peaceful offering animation at the altar—giving back all the little fish (tetra, cavefish, and guppy) I caught during my sessions in the ruins. I know I said I’d stay here to train the rest of my combat skills… but honestly? I’ve had enough of this place. It’s time to move on! So, off I go to Karamja Island—to fight Lesser demons in the dungeon! I feel happy with everything I achieved in Camdozaal: a whole combat level gained, new crafting discoveries, gold made, and even a few aesthetic highlights—like those tiny frogs hopping around the fishing spots. So cute! ๐ธ

Bird fact ๐ฆ: If Lesser demons were birds, they might just be the Andean Cock-of-the-rock (Rupicola peruvianus). This bold species lives in the Andean cloud forests—including Colombia! The males are famous for their bright reddish-orange feathers, black wings, and their wild disco-ball crest. Their striking look and dramatic display behavior could definitely give demon energy… just in bird form. ๐ฅ๐ชถ
Leveling my Strenght from 86 to 87
The main reason I’ve chosen Lesser demons for training Strength is because of their loot drops. While Body golems had useful crafting/smithing items (body cores, rune essences, gems, tin, copper, iron), these demons offer gear:
Steel full helms, axes, and scimitars
Mithril square shields and chainbodies
Adamant gear
And best of all: the Rune med helm ๐ฐ
My plan:
Collect as many rune med helms as I can, and then either sell them or maybe try high alching them (still deciding!). With that gold, I’ll buy Coal in bulk. Why? Because last time, the loot from the golems helped me buy all the Gold ore I needed to combine with my rubies and make Amulets of Strength. This time, I want to stockpile Coal to smelt Adamant bars and craft armor to sell. I checked the numbers—I'll need to kill more than 1,100 Lesser demons to reach level 87 Strength.
Let’s do this!! ๐ช๐ฅ

| You see the rune med helm in the inventory? That is the exciting loot I look for while grinding here with these Lesser demons. |
Other thoughts from the grind...
While killing demons, I reached level 71 Prayer, by scattering the ashes they dropped. It felt like a nice little milestone! I also took some time while grinding to reflect on the future of this blog. So far, I've written diaries—daily game session entries where I share what I’m doing, my goals, wishes, and thoughts. These posts are like activity trackers, but also a space where I can freely express myself. Recently, I started writing in a second category: essays. I think this format is a great opportunity to explore my creativity and writing skills more deeply. But beyond that, I’d love to use essays to dive into OSRS topics I find meaningful, or that might be interesting to others too. It feels like a challenge—but one I’m excited to take on. ๐๐
