Day 16 — A Mountain of Ores and the Mid-Clue Mark

Hello adventurers! Happy Friday to you all! 🎉 Today, I spent all my time camped at our favorite mining spot, staying committed to the goal of collecting 100 clue scrolls. The grind is real—but so is the progress! I'm now at 72.3% toward level 92 Mining, and the excitement grows with every swing of the pickaxe.

I’ve now stacked up 40 clue scroll casquets, which is getting me so close to that beautiful halfway point. I can't wait to open them all—hopefully I’ll find some flashy fashion scape or even a shoulder parrot to sell for some juicy gp. Fingers crossed!

A fun little moment: twice today, I managed to get two clue scrolls in a single mining run, which added a spark of motivation to the rhythm. The Mining Guild has been mostly quiet today, which meant I didn’t have to compete for ores—just peaceful grinding with a cozy vibe. I love that.

My bank is filling up fast: today I’ve mined +1,500 adamantite ores3,800 coal, and 1,400 gold ores. I can’t wait to smelt it all and stack up even more gp. But everything in its time—the best rewards come with patience and persistence.

Also got a couple of random events (lamp gang!), and I’ve been throwing the xp straight into Smithing—slowly climbing so I can craft better and more profitable armour later.

It’s been a chill, wholesome gaming day. I watched some OSRS content on YouTube in the background—it seems like the WoW crowd is showing more and more love for our beloved “point-and-click medieval game.” I’ve never played WoW myself, but it’s fun seeing new eyes discover OSRS. I also tuned into a Twitch stream where someone was playing the new Donkey Kong game for the Switch 2—very nostalgic and cool!

Now I’m off to solve four more clue scrolls with all the equipment I’ve prepped. The clue count keeps growing!

Bird Fact of the Day 🐦
Did you know that scientists studying birds often find tiny creatures living among their feathers? These are feather parasites—like lice and mites—that use birds as both home and vehicle. They hitchhike from one place to another, using their host to disperse across landscapes. It’s a fascinating micro-ecosystem that tells us a lot about both birds and the world they move through!

Achievements of the Day 🏅
• +1,500 Adamantite Ores
• +3,800 Coal
• +1,400 Gold
• 40 Reward Casquets collected
• Mining: 72.3% of the way to level 92

Until tomorrow, may your ores be rich and your clue scrolls spicy.
Stay grindin’ 🛡️ – and see ya on the next tick!
