Day #3: Journey from 86 tp 87 Attack (2nd part)

Starting the Day: Clue Scrolls & Pottery
Today I decided to begin by solving the four clue scrolls I had saved up. There's something so fun about entering a "clue-only" mode -- my focus gets so sharp! I'm finally starting to remember that Brian is in Port Sarim, and Flynn is in Falador. Maybe soon I won't need to look up the OSRS Wiki for the anagram clues (those are the hardest for me).

From the rewards, I plan to buy energy potions (I'm almost out!) and cooked pike, plus stock up on other clue-scroll-requested items.
🎉 OMG—I got something valuable! A Rune scimitar ornament kit (Guthix)!
...Okay, maybe it’s not that valuable—it’s currently worth around 3.6k. A little disappointing, but still fun to get!

After that, I turned to something I’ve never really done before: pottery! I used buckets of water to turn all my clay into soft clay and then used a pottery wheel in Barbarian Village to craft unfired bowls. Easy Crafting XP! I used the west Varrock bank for fast trips back and forth.

Hyperfocus Combat Session – Halfway There!

Now it’s time to refocus on Attack training at the Ruins of Camdozaal

I had this idea: what if I tracked how many body cores I could gather along the way?

Here’s the quick math:

  • Body core = 75 Runecrafting XP

  • To go from 71 to 72 Runecrafting, I need 84,700 XP
→ That means I’d need around 1,119 body cores 😳

Seems like a stretch—but maybe doable if I continue training other combat styles here later on. We’ll see!

Money-Making Mode (and Gold Ore Goals)

After grinding, I switched gears to focus on money-making so I could buy gold ore. Why? Because I have over 4,000 rubies in my bank just waiting to become Amulets of strength 🔮💰

Enchanting them will also give me Magic XP, and once I sell them, I’ll be rich again! (Buahaha!) Not long ago, I had over 20 million GP—and while money isn’t my top priority right now, I am curious to explore more money-making methods.

There are so many guides and tips out there—even the OSRS Wiki has a whole section dedicated to it. Maybe after I finish this training phase, I’ll do some sessions just to test different money makers and share the results with you!

A Fresh Look for the Second Half!

Ladies and gentlemen...
I’ve officially reached the halfway point in the grind to 87 Attack!
And you know what that means: new outfit time 🎭✨

A total change in colors and gear makes the rest of the grind feel fresh again. Visual resets really help keep the motivation high!

Bird fact #2🐦: not all birds build nests with twigs and materials. Some, like parrots, owls, woodpeckers, and toucans, use natural cavities in trees as their homes! These cozy hideaways provide shelter and protection for their eggs and chicks.

Break-Time Activities That Keep It Fun:

When I’m not killing Body Golems, I like to take creative breaks by:

  • Solving clue scrolls 🧩

  • Smelting bronze and iron bars
(It’s actually more profitable to sell them as bars instead of making platebodies!)

  • Making soft clay into unfired bowls and selling them
(Some may take a while to sell, so I just leave them in an offer and let the passive income flow in 💸)

Overall, I'm having a blast with this grind to 87 Attack!
Thanks for being here and sharing the journey with me :)
