Day #4: Journey from 86 to 87 Attack (final part?)
I’m starting today with a bit of Runecrafting—turning all the rune essences dropped by the Body Golems into Body runes. My goal for today is simple: finish leveling Attack, ideally without too many distractions in between. Let’s get it done! 🗡️✨
So here I am again, deep in the Ruins of Camdozaal, continuing the golem grind. I’m using the 60-minute buff timer I get from Ramarno, which I recharge every hour by trading in 1,000 Barronite shards. Each time the buff runs out, I take a break from combat and switch to something a little more relaxed: Pottery sessions 🏺, Crafting gems 💎, and Smelting. bronze and iron bars 🔨. With the profits, I buy more gold ore—keeping that crafting + money-making cycle alive!
Now that I’m taking a short pause from the Attack session, I’m also making sure to pray at an altar to recharge my Prayer points. I always try to keep Prayer active during combat—it really makes a difference! I’m currently using ‘Incredible Reflexes’ to boost my Attack by 15%, which helps keep the grind efficient.
Oh! And I just realized I’m already 20% of the way to level 72 Runecrafting! It’s creeping up silently, and I’m loving it. This kind of passive training feels so much better than grinding countless hours of Runecrafting runs. If this keeps up, I might actually hit level 72 Runecrafting by the time I finish training all three combat stats—that’s amazing!
After reaching level 87 Attack, I think I’ll stay here in Camdozaal to train Strength and Defense as well. I’ve built a nice little routine here, and it’s honestly starting to feel cozy. Sure, some things take a while—but that’s part of the true magic of OSRS: you get to shape your journey, choose your path, and go at your own pace :)
Bird fact #4🐦: feathers are what truly set birds apart in the history of life on Earth. They are unique to birds and evolved from reptilian scales—an evolutionary innovation that allowed for flight, insulation, and even courtship displays. No other animals on the planet have feathers, and this makes birds one of the most beautifully distinct branches of the tree of life.
Oh, by the way—just a quick note from my current reality: this is totally not an AFK activity 😅 So I’ve been learning to balance my game sessions with blogging. Still figuring that rhythm out!
Also, I’ve been thinking about clue scrolls again. I recently revisited the official OSRS highscores page, and it's super inspiring—it kind of makes you want to play in a more competitive mode, even just with yourself! With the recent stackable clue scrolls update, I think this could really spice things up for the F2P community, too. More motivation, more organization, and maybe more fun treasure hunts for everyone!
