Day 17 — 92 Mining Unlocked – The Pickaxe Rests

Finally!!! Ladies and gentlemen, dudes and dudettes, adventurers of all kinds: the grind has paid off—Level 92 Mining is here 🎉 (by the way, this means I've hit the halfway mark to 99 👀)! After countless hours deep in the Falador Mining Guild, I’ve emerged with not just a leveled-up skill, but a mountain of ores and 55 shiny Reward casquets stacked in the bank.

Now that the mining phase of this adventure is complete, it’s time to leave behind the pickaxe—at least for now—and set out on new skilling paths. I’ll be focusing on fishing and woodcutting to keep hunting for clue scrolls and building up the second half of my casquet goal.

One curious thing I’ve noticed: whenever I try to stack up clue scroll boxes, I always seem to cap out at four before RNG decides to ghost me on the fifth. Coincidence? Maybe. Suspicious? Most definitely. 😂 Still, I always make sure to solve them before going back for more.

There’s something really satisfying about seeing the number 92 light up on the skill tab. I’ve loved the mining grind, but it feels like the right time to switch things up a bit—perhaps by smelting all these ores into glorious bars and turning them into GP. Step by step, day by day, we keep adventuring forward.

🪶 Bird Fact of the Day:
Some parrots, macaws, and other bird species regularly visit clay licks—natural mineral-rich outcrops of exposed soil or rocks—to consume clay and minerals. This behavior is believed to help them detoxify certain plant compounds in their diet, aid digestion, and supplement essential nutrients like sodium. In places like the Amazon rainforest, it’s common to see dozens of vibrant birds gathering at these mineral buffets, turning a bare cliffside into a living rainbow. 🌈🪨 Isn’t it fascinating how, just like adventurers mining ores in Falador, these wild birds are mining nature’s resources in their own way? 🦜⛰️

🎯 Today’s Achievements:

  • Reached Level 92 Mining! 🏆⛏️

  • Mined 2,108 adamantite ores5,618 coal, and 2,043 gold ores

  • Stacked a total of 55 Reward casquets 🎁

Time to bank the ores, hang up the pickaxe, and rest the hands. Tomorrow, we fish. 🐟
Until then—may your clue scrolls be generous and your random events come bearing lamps.
Cheers, and stay grindin’ my friends! 🛡️📜
